Australian PM Visits Israel
Jerusalem, Israel. 1st November, 2017. Prime Minister of Australia, MALCOLM TURNBULL (L), gazes up at enlarged Pages of Testimony in the Hall of Names at Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum, where Pages of Testimony of more than 4,000,000 Jewish Holocaust victims are eternally preserved. Escorted by his spouse Lucy Turnbull, the PM toured the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum, participated in a memorial ceremony, visited the Children's Memorial and signed the museum guest book. Turnbull is in Israel on the occasion of centenary commemorations for ANZAC troops of the Australian 4th and 12th Regiments of the 4th Light Horse Brigade who took part in the liberation of Beersheba on 31st October 1917 in World War One.
