An aerial view of the 9/11 Living Memorial Plaza and cenotaph located on a hill in the Arazim Valley, Jerusalem, a memorial which honors the victims of the September 11th, 2001 attacks. The cenotaph, measuring 30 feet, takes the form of an American flag, waving and transforming into a flame at the tip, was designed by award winning artist Eliezer Weishoff. A piece of melted metal from the ruins of the Twin Towers forms part of the base on which the monument rests. The names of the victims, including five Israeli citizens, are embedded on a metal plate on the circular wall.
