For the fifth consecutive year 300 actors, singers and musicians with special needs will take part in sixty performances as part of the Creative Special Needs Festival, a municipality initiative enabling art as a means of expression to overcome and explain physical and emotional disabilities.

"Bus Stop", a joint production performed by SHEKEL's Theatre Group (a non-profit organization that helps people with special needs) and the graduate ensemble of The School of Visual Theater, is a unique and intimate production. It was born of joint workshops in which the actors took part. Seven people on stage bump into each other at a bus stop, they connect, then fall apart, their identities blur and overlap. It is a study of ones's identity viewed through that of the other, a study of each and every one's uniqueness.

In "Bus Stop" School of Visual Theater graduate actors Inbar Ben-Ishay, Sharon Broyar, Maayan Miriam Mozes, Yoel Ron join SHEKEL actors Michal Adler, Eyal Sagy and Noam Shamir, and are directed by Noa Elran, and co-directed by Cheftziba Shuali. Produced by Inbar Ben-Ishay, sound by Amir Boltzman and lighting by Uri Rubinstein the project is promoted and managed by Emanuel Shen.

"I'm feeling very restless and talking a lot today because I'm excited about the show tonight" says actor Eyal Sagi during rehearsals. Michal Adler is anxious about the summer break in rehearsals and workshops, expected following tonight's performance and Noam Shamir says he finds acting very interesting and thinks Bus Stop is funny.
