French Jewish Immigration to Israel
Ben-Gurion International Airport, Israel. 8th December, 2015. Jewish Agency Chairman, NATAN SHARANSKY (L), lights Hanukkah candles with dozens of newly arrived French Jewish immigrants at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport. More than 7,100 new immigrants from France have arrived in Israel so far in 2015, a 10% increase compared to the same point in 2014, possibly due to an increased sense of antisemitism in Europe and radicalization of Islam.
