Micha Bar-Am, 88, Israeli photojournalist who's work spans 60 years of Israel's history, gives a talk to journalists in Jerusalem entitled "1948 Through Today: A Witness of a State". Bar-Am immigrated to Mandatory Palestine from Germany in 1936, he has photographed multiple Israeli wars, was a correspondent for Magnum Photos, the New York Times, head of the department of photography at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and in 1974 assisted Cornell Capa in founding the International Center of Photography in New York City.
